Lady Gaga has gradually created her own image in the music industry and has had the whole world quizzing into her enigmatic identity. But there is a whole lot to know about the American singer and songwriter apart from her strange looking paraphernalia. At school, she would participate in musicals, open mic nights and others. In her second year at the school, she quit and went on to focus on her music career. Also in 2005, she was signed to Def Jam Records although her contact was short-lived for some unknown reasons. She then went on her own, performing songs in clubs in New York and she got better and better.
